Lauren Woodward has been integral to BDR since joining the team in 2021. Initially serving as an accounting coach, her expertise in small business financial management and leadership skills led to her recent promotion to lead accounting coach.
With almost 20 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, and operational management, Lauren specializes in QuickBooks®, full-cycle accounting, payroll, tax compliance, and financial reporting.
Her career began in the service industry, where she advanced from receptionist to bookkeeper to office manager at a growing small business. There, she managed accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and HR functions and collaborated with CPAs—playing a key role in scaling the company from a six-person operation to a multi-location enterprise.
Lauren’s firsthand experience working with family-owned businesses fuels her passion for helping BDR’s clients achieve sustainable success. As lead accounting coach, she guides her team with a focus on accuracy, efficiency, and client growth.
